We’re a community of barbers dedicated to keeping our shop a safe, welcoming, and an all-around happy space. We constantly educate ourselves in our field to make sure each guest is walking out of the shop looking as good as we’d like them to feel.
Located on the border of Washington, DC, we provide quality haircuts to guests all over the DMV.

John Riley
Barber / Manager
John steers the ship over at Georgie’s. His early midlife crisis came when he realized he didn’t want to sit at a desk anymore. A leap of faith led to cutting hair.
You can find him in the front window, usually talking about being vegan and straight-edge – or about hardcore music and dogs – to anyone who will listen. He cuts all types of hair and loves to interpret what his clients want or don’t want, turning that into a haircut that grows out well until the next one.
Elissa Gibson
Barber
Known for her classic cuts and with passion for education, Elissa gives clients the tools and knowledge to look and feel their best. It’s not just about the hair, but about taking care of each client's needs and vision.
After being in the Navy for six years, she has an incredible attention to detail and a salty sense of humor. You can expect a great haircut, a relaxing and friendly experience, and to be regaled by tales of her furry sidekick, Junebug.
Andrew Quisenberry
Barber
Andrew is our newest member and resident cat lady. He’s been cutting for 5 years – after training in traditional barbering – and now calls Georgie’s home. He loves horror movies and taking pictures of all sorts of stuff. Tell him about your favorite animal or movie!

Ian has spent the last 20 years behind the chair all over the DMV, honing his craft and enjoying the connections with his guests and community.
Opening Georgie’s was a no-brainer: as a resident of the neighborhood, he’s proud to serve the community and neighborhood where he’s raising his family.
